Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected by the apps published by madebykengo ("we", "us"), including Little Chaotics: Boom Quest ("the game"), how it is used, and what rights you have over it. By using the game, you agree to the practices described in this document.
1. Summary
- The game does not ask for your real name, email address, phone number or any other contact details.
- Your progress is stored on your device and, as a backup, on Google Firebase servers, linked to an anonymous guest account.
- Ads are always optional and are provided by Google AdMob.
- We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
2. Information stored on your device
So that you can continue your game, the game stores on your device:
- Your game progress: completed levels, stars, in-game currency, lives, items obtained and settings.
- Levels created with the editor and levels received from other players.
- Your player name, only if you choose to enter one. It is optional and may be a nickname.
This information is deleted when you uninstall the game, unless it is included in a backup of your device.
3. Cloud backup
To prevent the loss of your progress, the game stores a copy of your game data on Google Firebase, a service of Google LLC that we use as an infrastructure provider. The first time the game is opened, an anonymous guest account is created automatically. It is identified only by a random code, with no name, email address or phone number.
The backup contains the information described in section 2, plus:
- The random identifiers of the account and of the saved game, and the date of the last backup.
- Levels received from other players, including the player name they chose.
The backup is updated when you leave the game, when you make a purchase and, at most, every thirty minutes while playing. Only the guest account on your device can read or modify it. We may access it only when necessary to assist you (for example, if a purchase was not received). The data is stored on Google servers located in the United States.
4. Game configuration and server time
When it starts, the game retrieves its configuration from Firebase (for example, in-game prices and rewards) and the server time, which is used to calculate life recovery and daily rewards independently of the device clock. For this purpose, Firebase assigns a random installation identifier to the device.
As with any internet connection, Google receives the device's IP address and technical data such as the app version, which it uses to provide the service and prevent abuse. More information is available on the Firebase privacy page.
5. Shared levels
When you share a level you created, the game generates a code, a link or a QR code containing the level, your player name (if you entered one), a random identifier of the author and your character's appearance. This code is sent only to the people you choose, through the app you select, and does not pass through our servers.
6. Studio photos
The Studio feature creates an image of the characters and opens the system share menu. If you choose to save it to your photo library, the system will ask for your permission. The game only adds that image: it does not access, copy or send any other photo on your device.
7. Advertising
The game does not show mandatory ads. You may choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect:
- The device's advertising identifier, only if you allow it.
- The IP address and the approximate location derived from it.
- The device model, operating system and your interaction with the ads.
Google uses this information to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. On iPhone and iPad, the system will ask whether you allow tracking; if you do not, you can still watch ads, but they will be less personalized. You can change this option in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings (usually under Privacy → Ads or Google → Ads).
Where required by law (for example, in the European Union and the United Kingdom), the game will ask for your consent before Google uses your data to personalize ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game settings, under "Ad privacy".
For more information, see how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
8. In-game purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your card or payment details; we only receive confirmation of the purchase in order to deliver the purchased content.
9. Children
We do not knowingly request or collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, for example by email, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Data retention
We keep the game backup for as long as the guest account exists, or until you request its deletion. Messages sent to support are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request.
11. Your rights
You may ask us at any time for a copy of your game backup, its correction, or its deletion together with the guest account, as well as the deletion of any messages you have sent us. To exercise these rights, write to the address in section 13.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game changes in ways that affect your data. We will publish the new version on this page and show the date of the last update at the top of the document.
13. Contact
For any questions about this policy or your data, you can write to us at soporte@madebykengo.com.
